This article explains how to set up the TIMOCOM interface in Logistiqo and how to import and export freight offers between TIMOCOM and Logistiqo.
The TIMOCOM integration is used to transfer relevant TIMOCOM transport orders into Logistiqo and to export suitable shipments from Logistiqo to TIMOCOM. The commercial process, offer handling, purchase of orders, and communication with other TIMOCOM users remain in TIMOCOM.
What the TIMOCOM Interface Is Used For
With the TIMOCOM interface, you can:
- search for freight offers from TIMOCOM in Logistiqo
- open offer details from TIMOCOM
- import a selected TIMOCOM offer into Logistiqo as a shipment
- export a shipment from Logistiqo to TIMOCOM
- open the corresponding offer or order in TIMOCOM, if required
The purpose of the interface is not to replace TIMOCOM. It helps you transfer relevant orders between TIMOCOM and Logistiqo without entering the same shipment data manually twice.
Requirements
To use the TIMOCOM interface, your company needs valid TIMOCOM interface credentials.
These credentials are provided by TIMOCOM. Please contact TIMOCOM support or your TIMOCOM contact person if you do not have the required access data.
Usually, the following data is required:
- TIMOCOM Group ID
- TIMOCOM Password
- TIMOCOM Company ID
- TIMOCOM User ID for the users who should work with the interface
Setting Up the TIMOCOM Interface
Go to Settings > General > TIMOCOM Settings.
The setup page contains company settings and user settings.
Company Settings
In the company settings area, enter the access data provided by TIMOCOM.
Important fields are:
- TIMOCOM Group ID: The group ID provided by TIMOCOM.
- TIMOCOM Company ID: Your company ID in TIMOCOM.
- TIMOCOM Password: The password for the TIMOCOM interface. If a password is already configured, the field may indicate that the password is stored. Leave the field empty if you do not want to change the existing password.
After entering or changing the company settings, save the settings.
User Settings
In the user settings area, you can assign TIMOCOM user IDs to Logistiqo users.
This is required if individual users should work with the TIMOCOM interface.
For each relevant user:
- find the user in the list
- enter the corresponding TIMOCOM User ID
- save the settings
The TIMOCOM User ID is provided by TIMOCOM.
Importing a TIMOCOM Offer Into Logistiqo
To import a TIMOCOM offer into Logistiqo, go to More > TIMOCOM Search.
The TIMOCOM Search page is used to search for offers in TIMOCOM and import selected offers into Logistiqo.
Searching for TIMOCOM Offers
In the upper area, you can search for TIMOCOM offers using different search parameters.
Available search options can include, for example:
- loading location
- unloading location
- loading date
- minimum and maximum weight
- body type
- vehicle type
- minimum and maximum length
- offer ID
In many cases, the most practical way is to search directly by the specific Offer ID. This is useful because the order selection, negotiation, purchase process, and communication usually still happen in TIMOCOM. Logistiqo is then mainly used to import the already relevant offer as a shipment.
To search by Offer ID:
- Go to More > TIMOCOM Search.
- Enter the Offer ID in the offer ID field.
- Click Search.
- The matching offer is displayed in the result table below.
Viewing Offer Details
After the search results are displayed, click the relevant offer in the table.
The offer details open below the result table. The details can include information such as:
- customer
- loading location
- unloading location
- loading date
- weight
- distance
- price
- contact person
- description
- vehicle type
- body type
- additional remarks or requirements
Review the details before importing the offer into Logistiqo.
Opening the Offer in TIMOCOM
If you want to view the offer directly in TIMOCOM, click TIMOCOM in the offer detail area.
This opens the corresponding TIMOCOM view, if your TIMOCOM access and browser session allow it.
Use this option if you want to check the original offer, communication, or other details directly in TIMOCOM before importing it.
Importing the Offer
To import the selected TIMOCOM offer into Logistiqo:
- Search for the offer in More > TIMOCOM Search.
- Select the offer from the result table.
- Review the details.
- Click Import Offer.
- Wait until the import is completed.
After the import, Logistiqo automatically opens the shipment view and displays the newly imported shipment.
The imported data can then be reviewed, completed, and saved like a normal shipment in Logistiqo.
Exporting a Shipment From Logistiqo to TIMOCOM
You can also export a shipment from Logistiqo to TIMOCOM.
Go to Shipments > Shipment and open the shipment that you want to export.
To prepare the shipment for TIMOCOM export:
- Open the shipment.
- Activate the TIMOCOM checkbox in the shipment.
- A TIMOCOM panel opens in the shipment.
- Complete the required TIMOCOM fields.
- Check that the shipment data is complete.
- Click Export Offer.
The TIMOCOM panel contains the fields required for exporting the offer to TIMOCOM.
Depending on the shipment and the TIMOCOM requirements, this can include information such as:
- TIMOCOM freight ID
- source offer ID
- quote ID
- quote status
- CFE ID
- internal remarks
- external remarks
- vehicle type
- body type
- equipment
- remarks or special requirements
The required shipment data must also be completed, for example pickup and delivery locations, dates, goods, weight, and other relevant transport information.
Important Notes for Export
Before exporting a shipment to TIMOCOM, check the following:
- pickup location
- delivery location
- pickup and delivery dates
- goods description
- weight
- vehicle type
- body type
- equipment requirements
- remarks
- internal and external comments
- price or cost information, if required
If required fields are missing, the export may not be possible or may be rejected by TIMOCOM.
Important Notes
The TIMOCOM integration does not replace the TIMOCOM platform.
Use TIMOCOM for:
- searching and buying orders
- communication and chat
- commercial negotiation
- checking original offer details
- managing TIMOCOM-specific workflows
Use Logistiqo for:
- importing relevant TIMOCOM offers as shipments
- processing the shipment operationally
- dispatching
- documents
- invoicing
- internal shipment management
If the interface does not work as expected, first check whether the TIMOCOM credentials are complete and whether the correct TIMOCOM User ID is assigned to the user.
