This guide explains how to change prices, handling fees, and VAT settings for load carriers in Logistiqo.
Changing the Price of a Load Carrier
The price of a load carrier is maintained directly in the unit master data.
- Go to Master Data > Unit.
- Select the load carrier you want to change, for example Europalette.
- Change the price in the Price field.
- Click Save in the toolbar.
The selected unit can also be configured for pallet exchange using the Pallets Exchange option. Only units that are enabled for pallet exchange can be used in pallet exchange transactions.
Changing the Handling Fee
If a handling fee should be charged for pallet or load carrier invoices, this can be maintained in the direct invoicing templates.
- Go to Accounting > Miscellaneous > Direct Billing.
- Select the template for the pallet handling fee, for example Pallets Handling Fee.
- Change the amount in the Amount field.
- Click Save in the toolbar.
This amount is used when the corresponding fee is added to a pallet or load carrier invoice.
Changing the VAT Setting
The VAT behavior for load carrier invoices is also controlled through the direct invoicing template.
- Go to Accounting > Miscellaneous > Direct Billing.
- Select the relevant template for pallets or load carriers.
- Choose the appropriate Accounting Template.
- Click Save in the toolbar.
By default, pallet and load carrier invoices may be configured as tax-free. If VAT should be charged, select an accounting template with the required VAT settings.
Note:
Only change the accounting template if you are sure which VAT or revenue setting should be used. If necessary, check the accounting setup with your accounting department or tax advisor.
