In Logistiqo, Goods Receipt and Goods Issue can be used to manage the movement of goods into and out of a warehouse as part of the shipment workflow.
A Goods Receipt records goods entering the warehouse, while a Goods Issue records goods leaving the warehouse for an outbound shipment. The outbound shipment can then be sent to the Logistiqo App, where the driver can update the shipment status during transport and complete the delivery with Proof of Delivery (POD).
This workflow allows the process to be handled in Logistiqo from the receipt and storage of goods through the outbound shipment and final delivery confirmation.
The following guide explains how to process a Goods Receipt, create a Goods Issue, send the shipment to the Logistiqo App, and complete the shipment with Proof of Delivery (POD).
Create a Goods Receipt
Go to Shipments > Shipment and create a new shipment.
Enter the Customer and select Goods Receipt as the Shipment Type under the Order Parameters.
Under Notified Goods, select the article, Storage Location, and enter the quantity.
Click Save, then select Print > Labels Notified Goods to create a label for the goods.
Process the Goods Receipt in the Logistiqo App
Open the Logistiqo App and go to the Goods Receipt section.
Scan the previously printed label to enter the following information:
- Reference: Identifies the shipment.
- Article Number: Identifies the article.
- Storage Space: Specifies where the article is stored.
- Quantity: Specifies the quantity of goods received
- Unit: Specifies the unit in which the quantity is recorded.
After scanning the label, confirm the Goods Receipt.
After the Goods Receipt has been processed successfully, the shipment status is automatically changed to Goods Receipt.
Create a Goods Issue Shipment
Go to Shipments > Shipment and create a new shipment.
Enter the customer in the Details section, select Goods Issue under Order Parameters and select the appropriate address in the Receiver row.
In Stock Allocation, select the previously received article and enter the quantity. In the Article row, select the corresponding article, Storage Location, Unit and enter the number of Pieces.
Select the Driver, Subcontractor, and Vehicle, then click Save.
After saving, the shipment is sent to the assigned driver's Logistiqo App, and a notification appears on the driver's phone.
Important: Make sure the correct Driver is selected before saving the shipment. The shipment must be sent to the appropriate driver so that it appears in the Logistiqo App.
Process the Shipment in the Logistiqo App
Open the Logistiqo App and go to the Shipments section.
Tap the shipment you created and update the appropriate status as the shipment progresses. Available statuses include:
- Accepted
- Loading Point
- Collected
- Unloading Point
- POD
- Problem
The status updates are reflected in the Shipments section of Logistiqo.
Complete the Proof of Delivery (POD)
Open the shipment in the Logistiqo App and tap POD.
If required, take a photo of the goods and enter the recipient's electronic signature, then tap POD OK to complete the delivery.
The shipment status in Logistiqo is changed to POD, confirming the Proof of Delivery.
