In Logistiqo, a manifest or a tour is used to plan and organize multiple shipment stops that are to be handled together during a transport operation. Instead of managing each collection and delivery independently, the relevant stops can be combined into one manifest, arranged in the required sequence, and assigned to the resources responsible for carrying out the transport. This is particularly useful when a driver, vehicle, or subcontractor handles several collections and deliveries as part of the same tour. The manifest provides a consolidated view of the planned stops and allows the dispatcher to organize their sequence and assign the appropriate transport resources.
A shipment can contain one or more collection and delivery points. In Manifest, these points are represented individually in the Sender/Receiver table. For example, a shipment with one sender and one receiver produces one collection and one delivery position. A shipment with two collection points and two delivery points produces four positions. This allows individual stops from different shipments to be combined into the same manifest when required.
Create a new manifest
Go to Shipments > Manifest. The Sender/Receiver table shows all collection and delivery positions that are available for scheduling. To create a new tour, select the required positions in the Sender/Receiver view table by using the checkbox in the first column and click New in the toolbar.
After creating the manifest, additional shipment stops can still be added. Click Add, then drag the required rows from the Sender/Receiver or Shipment table into the manifest.
Organize the tour
Click Move to change the sequence of the shipment stops in the manifest. Drag the required position to its new place in the sequence.
In the Reference field, you can give the manifest a name, e.g. "FRIDAY TOUR" to identify the manifest.
Assign the resources required to carry out the transport. Depending on the operation, this can include a Vehicle, Driver, Trailer or Subcontractor.
The Details section provides an overview of the manifest, including information such as the number of shipments and stops, weight, distance, transport time, and completion time.
Save the manifest by clicking Save in the toolbar. The manifest can also be printed using Print.
